6 More Time Saving Tips for Busy Entrepreneurs and Business Owners

When I first starting brainstorming ways for entrepreneurs and business owners to save time I wasn’t sure how many I could think of. When I started I thought I would tap out with 5 or so but that turned into 12!

That seemed like too many tips for one blog post so I split it up into 2. In case you missed the first blog post with the first 6 tips. Here are 6 more time saving tips for entrepreneurs and business owners.

Tip #7

Pick a marketing strategy you enjoy that works for you and stay consistent. There are so many marketing strategies and any of them can work for you and your business. The key is consistency and staying focused on the data not the drama as my former business coach says!

Here are just a few to try out in your business. Content marketing (which is one of my marketing strategies), creating free content mostly on social media, podcast interviews, ads, referrals, speaking engagements, educate an audience and end with your pitch, video content, consult calls and webinars.

Even though many entrepreneurs talk about how Instagram isn’t that great for finding clients I’ve received enough DM’s to know it’s worth it for me! So make sure to try out any of these strategies for at least 3 months to see if it is a good fit for you.

Tip #8

Create processes and systems. If you’re a creative business owner or just creative in general you might be groaning at the thought of creating a process or system for your business. You want to go with the flow and make things custom every time!

Here’s the secret. Starting with a template even if it is general is way more helpful than starting from scratch every time. This way you won’t need to worry about missing steps with every new client or hire or project.

When I came up with my system to create my Instagram posts it took less time and was easier for me to create and post.

Tip #9

Set boundaries and guidelines for your time and energy. Boundary talk is all over social media specifically TikTok these days. A few years ago I still didn’t really understand what they meant.

Learning what you can and can’t say yes to will help you reclaim your time and not feel depleted at the end of the day because you over committed or pushed too hard.

Some days you will work overtime but for the typical day to day set those boundaries.

Tip #10

Find community and network that understands what you’re going through. If your friends and family aren’t entrepreneurs or business owners they might not understand your struggles or celebrate your wins.

A network can also provide you valuable resources and referrals for your business. This might seem counterintuitive but you can receive so many opportunities by building and investing in your network.

As an introvert the concept of networking always felt kind of gross and sales-y. Finding the right community is a total game changer in your business and will help you feel less alone when you run into problems.

Tip #11

Take care of yourself. Some people don’t like the phrase “self care” but it’s definitely important whether you own a business or not.

It might feel like too much to take a two hour bath every night but taking a five minute break to walk outside is very doable.

No matter what season of business you’re in from side hustle to 7 figures you won’t get to the next level if you’re talking down about yourself or running yourself ragged.

Tip #12

Invest in yourself. The best asset and resource in your business is you. Take the time to invest in learning and upgrading your skills to better serve your clients and grow your business.

As you elevate your level of knowledge and skills you can then elevate your offers and pricing to reflect this change. I love learning so the need to constantly learn and upgrade your skills is a challenge I’m totally down to go for!

A few different ways you can invest in expert tools and new skills is through digital products, templates, courses, swipe files and downloads.
