The Lazy Way To Create Your Website
If you want to create your website, but are intimidated by code or by everything you don’t know, then this post is for you. I'll show you how to use Squarespace and other resources to create your website with easy or lazy way.
It will take effort but at least you won’t be wasting your time.
Use a No Code Platform
For those of you who don’t know, Squarespace is a no code platform. This means that you don’t need to be a developer or have any coding experience to build a website.
All you have to do is pick a template and customize it by adding your content and images. It's that simple.
Squarespace offers a large selection of templates that are already optimized for mobile devices (they look great on mobile), so your website will look good no matter where people visit from.
These templates also come with built-in SEO features like meta descriptions, which will help Google index your site more quickly and accurately.
Unlike other platforms, Squarespace doesn’t charge based on features such as number of pages or visitors per month; instead they charge a flat monthly fee for their personal plan all the way up through their most expensive plan.
This makes it affordable for beginners who want something simple without paying an arm and leg just because they need more than 3 pages!
Use Free Web Design Resources
You can create your website with little or no technical knowledge of web design. The best way to do this is by using free web design resources.
These resources include free templates, software and tools that allow you to create a professional looking website without having to know how they work or how they are created.
There are also tutorials and courses available online that teach you how to use these resources so that you can begin creating your own websites from scratch.
You don’t even need to buy a book about this subject because there are plenty of books and magazines that will teach you how it all works for free!
Search Relevant Online Sources
Use Google to find design resources. This is the obvious first step, but it's also the most important one. It doesn't matter whether your search for web design resources is a quick Google search or a deep dive into niche blogs—you need to start here.
When searching for resources, be specific with your keywords: Instead of using a broad term like "web design," try searching "interactive ecommerce" or "responsive Squarespace website for photographers." The more specific you can get with your keywords, the better chance you'll have at finding what you're looking for.
When in doubt, try mixing up two different words (e.g., "interactive ecommerce responsive"); if that doesn't work out well enough, narrow down what exactly might help before moving on to another variation!
Don't forget about social media either! Web designers are great at sharing their tips and tricks online via Instagram posts and Reels—so keep an eye out as well as always being aware of who else is doing cool things across all platforms available today.
YouTube Videos
YouTube is a great resource for finding tutorials on how to build your website. You can watch free videos that teach you the basics of Squarespace, or dig deeper and watch more advanced tutorials on topics like customizing your blog or setting up an eCommerce store.
YouTube has some good content about building websites and Squarespace, but I’d be wary of watching too many videos before making an attempt at it yourself.
Eventually once you have enough web design knowledge trying it out yourself and learning by doing will help you remember and advance your knowledge instead of being stuck watching videos.
